Four rules for Hinglish captions
Spell it the familiar way
There's no correct spelling in Hinglish, only the familiar one — "nahi", "kya scene hai", "full paisa vasool". If it looks odd when you read it aloud, change it.
Hook in the first five words
Hinglish is built for speed. "Gym jaana start kiya hai" gets a scroll to stop; a slow build-up doesn't.
Keep hashtags in English
Hinglish hashtags split across spellings (#dosti, #dostii). English ones carry the volume — add one Hinglish tag at most.
Switch script when it's emotional
For a festival wish or something personal, Devanagari often lands warmer. The Hindi caption generator writes that version.
